About The Founder

Shane Ericksen has battled addiction for nearly 20 years. After undergoing treatment for Substance Use Disorder and achieving sobriety, Shane feels he is uniquely suited for this mission. He is a natural leader of men, who is now providing emergency housing to men who are in active recovery and seek to join a tribal brotherhood like nothing else in Utah. With a background in Health Care, Cannabis Medicine, and CBD manufacturing, Shane is proving to be a visionary maverik once again by leading the industry with the first ever medical cannabis based addiction recovery residence. Shane is part of Empathetix Health Clinics, Empathetix has helped Thousand of patients all across Utah get off harmful narcotics and access Utah’s new Medical Cannabis Program. Data shows that cannabis saves lives, our life experience has also shown that to be true.  Shane now offers 3 sober houses across Salt Lake for graduates, and One 27 bed licensed program in Midvale.  The program gets guys back working with integrated work programs in house.  Cannabis medicine and therapy with licensed Utah clinicians is part of the Men’s Tribal House program.  Hundreds of men have made major life improvements while at Tribal House.  Men who were considered ‘chronic offenders’ in the system have gotten off parole, returned to their families, and are now living sober, clean, productive, lives.
